I am Japanese. My heart.

Japanese

There are no troublesome doctrines like "God said so" or "Do this, do that," and if anything, it's a straightforward belief that "the sun is watching." Many Japanese people often think they are non-religious because they don't consciously think about religion on a daily basis.

In reality, Shinto and Buddhism are woven into daily life, and I believe most people accept that. It's more of a culture of Japan than just faith.
